Canterbury Tales, The

The last work of Geoffrey Chaucer, written after 1387 but unfinished at his death in 1400. The tale, an important insight into the perspectives of the various men of the middle ages, is written with an introduction describing the procession of pilgrims to Beckett's shrine at Cantebury, followed by a collections if tales told by each member of the company.&nbsp
